Modification of Existing Court Orders

Prior Court Order – sometimes a court order needs to be modified because of changed circumstances or new facts.  For example, perhaps child support order should be modified because finances have changed significantly since entry of the previous child support order; and it is necessary to modify child support based on those changed circumstances.  There could be a substantial change in circumstances in the other parent’s home and a the current parenting plan needs to be modified for the child’s safety and well-being which merit a parenting plan modification.  Talk with an experienced family law attorney to determine if a modification or adjustment is appropriate in your particular fact pattern.
